"Science Inquiry and Literacy: How are they connected?"

First Hand Learning Inc. and Education Development Center offered a joint
Professional Development Institute at the 2006 NSTA National Conference. Below
are a number of photographs taken during the day-long workshop.

The initial encounter with objects from the park was done with a
partner. Discussion ensued. Questions surfaced. Participants were ready to attack the park for answers.
